5. Terracotta Pot “Lighthouse” Lanterns
Terracotta pots are incredibly durable and offer a Mediterranean feel to your garden. By stacking and securing different sizes, you can create a lantern that looks like a miniature lighthouse, perfect for adding height to a garden bed.
How to Make
Stack three terracotta pots of decreasing sizes, gluing them together with heavy-duty construction adhesive. Leave a small gap between the rim of the bottom pot and the base of the next one by placing small wooden spacers in between; this gap allows light to shine out. Place a bright LED lantern inside the top pot. You can paint the pots with outdoor-rated acrylic paint to give them a striped or weathered look.
